Forest Bathing at Calusa Nature Center -- October

Go forest bathing in the largest green space in the City of Fort Myers at the Calusa Nature Center. Their shaded, unpaved trails on 105 acres feature pine flatwoods, part of a cypress dome, a canal berm, and other native plants. 

In addition to native wildlife, see and hear aviary residents that include eagles, vultures, a hawk and an owl. 

The nature center is closed to the public during the forest bathing program, providing a private experience. 

Enjoy the center’s indoor animal and natural history exhibits for 30 minutes prior to and after the forest bathing program. (Note: the planetarium is not open on the forest bathing day.)
